As we look forward to fashion in the New Year, a lot of it will be influenced by the past 10 months. The atmosphere and the casualness of the past year has changed the fashion landscape. The absence of fashion work attire, formal gatherings, and parties has all affected the way we dress.
The growth of Athleisure wear, Loungewear and Sleepwear shows that we don’t have to sacrifice fashion for comfort. As we have transitioned from face-to-face gatherings, many people find that it is difficult to take pride in their appearance because they are stuck at home. A popular quote “look good, feel good”, surprisingly holds some merit, according to Dr. Adam Galinsky, a professor at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
