Marketing Coordinator
Style of Life Canada is a small family-owned business in the women’ fashion clothing and accessories industry.
As the Marketing Coordinator, you hold an essential and dynamic role in supporting our e-commerce website and managing our social media. You are someone who is passionate about the latest industry trends and is commonly known to your friends as the go-to champion for anything fashion related. You will be actively working with a small team of three as the go-to person to execute digital marketing tasks.

Qualifications:
- College Diploma or University degree in English, Marketing, Communications or Journalism, or an equivalent combination of training and related experience
- Digital marketing and social media experience – 1 year preferred
- Creating written and visual online content – 1 year preferred
- Online advertising or social media advertising – 1 year preferred
- E-Commerce – 1 year preferred
- Graphic design experience – 1 year preferred
- A demonstrated understanding of SEO, specifically on-page SEO and keyword research, is an asset.
- Experience writing for retail is an asset
- Familiarity with fashion is an asset
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Google Suite
- Impeccable written and oral English skills
- Exceptional Customer service skills
Responsibilities and Overview:
Social Media Marketing
- Plan, schedule and create social media copy and digital assets that maintain a consistent on-brand style and voice, optimized for our Marketing Strategy. Content includes but may not be limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok and other B2C social media platforms
- Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns for product launches, events, or other goals related to Marketing
- Ensure accuracy of facts, grammar and spelling in all content
Email Marketing
- Managing email marketing campaigns via automation services such as MailChimp
- Preferably have a basic understanding of optimization such as email retargeting and A|B testing
Digital Marketing
- Writing product-based blogs about fashion while optimizing for SEO
- Manage ad campaigns and optimize for conversions with a minimum ad budget of $500/mo

Manage an E-Commerce Site
- Upload products on Shopify
- Manage product collections
- Update of basic themes
- Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Image optimization for various platforms
Customer Service
- Address customer inquiries regarding fashion on social media and in emails

Type: Contractor, Part Time (around 24 hours/week)
Rate: $20.00/hr, depending on experience
